The Daikin GTQ R-32 is a split-system air conditioner that uses R-32 refrigerant, a next-generation refrigerant with a lower global warming potential (GWP) than traditional refrigerants. R-32 has a GWP of 675, which is about one-third of the GWP of R-410A, the most common refrigerant used in split-system air conditioners today. This means that R-32 has a smaller impact on the environment than R-410A.
